Charmaine Wilkerson was born in New York, has lived in the Caribbean, and does most of her writing in Italy. Her work has appeared in Best Microfiction 2019 and various magazines and anthologies. She is the author of the award-winning novella How to Make a Window Snake. She has also worked in news and communications.
