Best Microfiction 2019
Good things really can come in small packages or, specifically, micro-packages. Hence the new anthology Best Microfiction 2019, which contains what the editors describe as "eighty-seven of the world's best very short stories." I'm truly honored to have a story in here. Here's what Robert Scotellaro, writer and poet, says about the stories included in its pages: “These are small, arresting stories that cut right to the heart of the matter, demonstrating that a story well told, no matter how small, expands beyond the space it inhabits.” Thanks to Guest Editor, novelist and short story writer Dan Chaon for including my story "The Laundry Room Comes First" from Fiction Southeast and thanks to Series Editor Meg Pokrass and Editor Gary Fincke for opening this door.
